Silicone Basting Brush

Our Silicone Basting Brush is perfect for glazing biscuits and desserts, spreading aromatic herbs or marinades over meat and fish, greasing ovenware, and brushing egg yolk over dough for baking to a golden effect.

It has an ergonomic handle for a comfortable grip. An innovative side hook keeps the bristles raised off the counter or clips the brush to the edge of a bowl to prevent drips.

The silicone head is fuller to brush more quantities of glaze, marinades, and butter; and each silicone bristle has a conical shape which tapers from a wide base to a thin tip to minimize marks left from brushing. Flexible and resilient, the brush head doesn't lose its form or its bristles. At the center of the bristles, a unique grid helps to retain more liquid and allows you to brush more evenly.

When it's time to wash, the entire head can be pulled from the handle for thorough cleaning.

Our practical design also has a unique closing feature to protect the silicone head and store it hygienically. A quick push rotates the bristles into the brush handle for storage.

• Wash before first use.
• Dishwasher safe
• The brush head can be dismantled for thorough cleaning. First take brush head out of handle. Then pull off brush head holder and pull out storage tab from middle.
• Approved for food use
• Do not use sharp or metal utensils.
• Do not use on sharp surfaces (e.g., open cans, blades) as this may damage the silicone.
• To prevent absorption of strong odors (garlic, onion, etc.), rinse basting brush with cold water immediately after each use, then wash thoroughly with soapy water or place in dishwasher. 
• Only the silicone components are heat resistant (220°C/428°F); do not expose brush handle or head to high temperatures or heat sources.
• If basting meat on a barbecue, take care not to expose the brush to direct flame as this may damage the product.
